A few days ago I realized my Christmas Cactus is blooming.
I have a plant window with two glass shelves.
Among the plants are African Violets, Orchids, and the flowering cactus.
Nothing like waking up in morning, walking to kitchen and see the blooms.
I will admit I am a bit compulsive about my plants.
Trimming this and that, feeding, watering, moving them around.
Thought I would share the first bloom with my blogging friends.

Wow, lovely flowers! Actually, I didn't take the picture of the Brownie camera; it was a part of a photo challenge called "Edit Me" where everyone downloads the same photo and edits it according to their taste. The picture was my take on it...:D Anyway, my picture or not, I'm glad you liked it! :)
Janie Abstraction grace to follow text and beautiful those flowers Reflection

It is obvious that you have cared for this little plant because it looks so healthy. How long do they bloom?
I can see great care and love go into your plants. What a beauty.
well thanks for sharing - it's lovely. have you noticed that Christmas cacti usually do not bloom for Christmas? what's up with that? it's perfect and that's because you baby your plants and take such good care of them.
Lovely flower...

Nice Christmas cactus :-).
Very beautiful flower. I love flowers but I am just good at admiring them. I'm not a greenthumb but my Mom is, she grows different flowering plants, mostly orchids in the yard and I used to admire them a lot.
