This was one of my goals on this trip.
To stand with the bison.
There may be more to this photograph for some of my followers.
The Bison were big, but I thought they would be much larger.
The life they have today is protection, grazing all day.
South Dakota
Red Squirrels are very busy getting ready for winter.
We watched this guy make numerous trips for pine cones.
He made nearly the same route each trip to his home and back.
There are grey squirrels where I live, so these were so vibrantly different for me.
The small mushrooms on the side of a path.
I do not know what kind this one was, just that it was new to me.

Small and big all along my travels on the road...

I can't wait for the weather to cool here so I have more time inside. Outside has been nice, but my house needs some serious cleaning. Thanks for all your visits.
