You are correct, I am new to you and you new to me. Interesting you chose new people to your blog to help promote friends to meet friends.
This is a great way to meet introduce bloggers.
I see that you procrastinate like I do in some ways.
Publishing a book is exciting, do it life is short!
What a way to get my attention with strawberry's.

Standard Blog Award Rules:
1. Thank and link to the person who nominated you.
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself.
3. Pass the award to 12 more deserving blogs.
Oh boy this is the hard part, I am procrastinating already!
Exactly like I do when trying to decide what to blog about. It would be interesting to do a blog,
"how much time do you blog a day".
Or "how much time does it take you to post one blog". Ekkkk!
1. I was named after a kindergarten teacher by my older brother and sister back in 1951. They loved their teacher and my parents were not really expecting a third child 10 years later. I am a plain Jane, not a Diane, as my dad wanted one syllable.
2. My dream was to become a RN in some big major hospital with lots of drama going on. I like watching surgery. I wanted to be the EMT in a fast moving ambulance. Didn't happen. I have been with many people during death, it has enriched my life in many ways.
3. The best travel experience I ever had in my life was going to Egypt in September 1997. Cruised the Nile, walked the markets, ate authentic food, visited pyramids, saw big eyed poor children but content, rode camels across the sand, met incredible people, always felt safe, never to be forgotten in my life.
4. I enjoy cooking and bake things for people that are hungry. I can knit, crochet, sew, prefer a tidy clean home, love being with my plants outside. Summers are my favorite time of year. I hate being cold.
5. Photography became important to me in 2003 when my first of two grandsons was born. From that time on it became more than just a hobby for me. I continue to have big ideas on doing more with it, but I procrastinate on numerous things. Ho Hum.
6. I like to go camping, not in managed campsites. I can go without a shower, washing of hair. I clean up well. In turn I enjoy being dressed up, dinners, dancing, movies, art, music, occasionally to the city. Not materialistic, just the necessities. I have a hard time with people that "shop until they drop". Mean rude people scare me.
7. Hibernation can be easy for me. However I do appreciate my family and friends. I need them in my life. I don't like people mad at me. My two grandsons continue to be the joy of my life. Always had a soft spot for children.
