Western Bluebird
What attitude they can have after a bath!
Like TexWis girl says, "wet birds look like scrub brushes".
I never thought of this , thanks Theresa.
Apparently this is their happy face.
I thought water and bath time was suppose to be relaxing?
Because it is totally relaxing for me to watch my yard birds splashing around.

Haha ~ this little bluejay seems to be having a wonderful splash! And he does look a bit like a scrub brush. Cute!
Wishing you a very happy week Janie!

Beautifully caught in action. The flower picture too is so, so lovely!
Great shot that first one. Reminds me of my wife when she gets out of the shower but taking a photo of that would be strictly off-limits.

We have a scrub jay who has lived in our neighborhood down here in the desert (near Palm Springs) for 3 years! He SHOULD be up in our local mountains, up in the pinyon forest. We think he got blown down here. He frequently visits our yard to get his acorns and peanuts, which I put out for him. Right now, he's off looking for a mate, like he did last year, but I expect him back in a couple of weeks, as noisy as ever! I've never seen him take a bath, however, so I'm enjoying your photos!
All your pictures are so good but I love the BlueBird shots...awesome. We have them too but I have never gotten any that good. Blessings.
