The best part of the spot above was seeing several Western Blue Birds.
Their colors were so much more intense than in my backyard.
I will return to this spot when I have more time to sit with the birds.
On my way home I then see turkey vultures circling a road kill.
There were five of them and two landed on top of this house.
Of course I stopped too.
This is the most interesting root for a tree.
I have driven by it many times, and today was the day to stop.
It seems to be a landmark for a nursery off the hwy.
Ironic how I never knew about the nursery being on this road by the root.
Stopping to pay attention is what we all need to do.

You are heading home from the Salton Sea home? Will you find your home covered in snow when you get to your abode? The snow you see in my blog was not where I live, it was 4 hours away. It was fun for a weekend.

The first one looks like a painting, and is a wall hanger.
