We are having spring like weather in January.
On the way home I drove the back roads.
Winery's, vineyards, homes, farms, gardens...
One of my favorite things to photograph is old barns.
Weathered old wood, red roofs, windows or not, in any condition.
There is something about old buildings that I enjoy.
There are a few grapevines in front of this one.
Many vines have been pruned back just like I did my roses a few days ago.
The weather is fooling us all, even the plants.
Next week it is suppose to start raining.

I LOVE old barns! :)
I like the warm colors in this. There will be many people across the country envious of the nice weather you are showing here.
Beautiful colors in this picture Janie, and as you, I love old buildings:)
Have a nice day.
Could we have a bit of your spring, please?! Where I live - here in south western Germany - we grow wine and wine and wine. My father did so as well when I was I child and I can remember the smell of the earth, the autumn, the picnic.
Oh wow! This is so beautiful. I can just about feel the warm breeze on my face!
Hey, where did you find this great barn. Al and I were up in Lake Co today! Beautiful.

I think we need to do a house swap like in the movie, The Holiday!(Minus the Jude Law and Jack Black storyline) You can come take pictures of the snow and I can enjoy your weather! Although if Jude Law did show up on your doorstep while I'm there it would be a little rude to turn him away. :-D
We too are having rather a lot of rain and treasure the odd bright days.
Lucy
I love this!!
