California Quail
They wander around in my backyard each evening.
I am usually sitting on the deck with my camera in case I see something.
Their calls to one another are extreme at times, it is never old for me.
Somehow I messed up my camera again, need to reset it today.
This photo is a bit grainy.

ReplyDeletei don't see any grainy, he is beautiful as is the photo. when i was a child daddy loved to go quail hunting with his brothers and cousins. i begged him not to hunt, he would come home with a mess of quail and mother would fry them and put them on the table. i cried and carried on so much, that daddy still went hunting but never came home with the birds....he said i ruined his meal by my nagging and crying.
