Yosemite National Park
I loved being in Yosemite this time of the year.
See, I did a little photo punching of color with a treatment.
Wandered around with my camera every day.
Ended up at the Awhanee in late afternoons for a glass of wine and watched people.
No I didn't stay at the Awhanee, we camped in motor home with husband.
Been really busy, dealing with our son and family moving to Colorado in October.
I was heartsick for days when I heard they were really leaving.
Knowing they are happy, and my two grandsons are adapting so well, it makes it better.
I am flying to see them December 18 - January 3!
Can't wait to see their new home, and their turf.
The age of technology allows me to be like other grandmothers living far from their kids.
I make the effort to call, email, facetime, skyping in the future, and made self addressed stamped post card for the grandsons!
AND they are sending them!
So yes I do get snail mail...
I loved hanging out at the stables in mornings.
Fun watching people get on horses.
OK, well the cowboys were fun too!
But the horse women!
Women were running the stables on the days I stopped by, they do a rotation with the guys.
This young woman was so sweet to the mules they saddled up for people.
Besides that I love braids and red hair.
She was an easy target.
