Tiptoe thru the Cactus

Mother's Day
May 12, 2012

I went to spend the weekend with my daughter.
It was the most relaxing weekend for me I have had in a long time.
She took me to the spa so we could have our feet pampered together.
We had dinner out and a fabulous breakfast out at our favorite spot the next morning.
She makes great strawberry margaritas, and has a fluffy cat named Santino.
Generally I don't watch baseball, but she and my son in law watched that together.
They have a native plant yard full of cactus, and plants that are desert orientated.

Got home late last night.
A delayed
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to ALL.

Now I will play catch up time.
Hope to visit all of you very soon.

It sounds as if you had a lovely relaxing break. So nice to spend time with your daughter too.
Those little yellow flowers are just so beautiful.

ooh la la yellow. reading about how you spent mother's day lifted me up. don't you just spas? nice that you share that experience with your daughter. I spent mother's day with my mum too but she is 86 and doesn't know what a spa is. (she wouldn't go either but I love her loads anyway). a belated happy mother's day to you Janie. you rock.
