Garden Treasure

There is a large community garden near by my home.
A garden where each person has a lot of space they rent by the year.
Not a garden where everyone shares everything, unless they want to, and I am thinking sometimes.
It is gated off for protection.
Next to the entrance this is the painted bench.
It is incredible.

Retired people who have the desire to grow their own food and flowers.
Organic garden.
They help each other if one is on vacation or out of town.
As I walked through this garden I found people that love to share garden experiences.
Not to mention the bench caught my eye as normal.
How could I pass up a sunflower?

Remember when a photograph doesn't turn out how I had hoped.
I make some kind of art out of them.
The colors are true, the flower is real, and so is the lady bug.

Sometimes when photographs do not turn out.
I make art out of them more often than not.

I love that bench. Such talent displayed there. Janie, this picture of the flower is amazing! It should be framed...a real piece of art.

And no one was harmed or injured during to make this art peace:)
The idea of that communal garden is great and those should be more.
I don't know what went wrong with the picture, to me it looks just perfect.

I like that bench and the quote that is on it. great idea for gardening. my dad lived in a mobile home retirement community and they had a couple of acres set aside so the people in the park could garden if they wanted to and they shared all the produce. it might just come down to doing this for us to have food someday
