Pumpkins

Geyserville, California

A few years ago on the old road up north I came across this big pumpkin.
There was a pumpkin patch across the street from this roadside display.
This could be seen from the scenic highway overpass.
I did posterized this photograph back then and now wished I left it alone.
We are rapidly approaching fall even though it feels like the dead of summer.
However I LOVE summer.
Reminds me of a kindergarten song I know.
"Pumpkin, pumpkin round and fat",
"turn into a jack-a-lantern, just like that"

I thought a hint of the upcoming season was in order.

What a big pumpkin:) Funny picture:)
Here in the middle of Norway the fall has started, and it's many beautiful colors in the nature. I like fall, but I'm not looking forward to the winter.
Have a nice day Jane.

I think it's cheery . . . on the other hand it might be creepy . . . can't decide!

Cute picture!! =0)

We have a local farmer here in town that dresses up his bales of hay for each holiday!

Thanks for posting some fall/Halloween spirit! It's truly a beautiful time of year.

very cute! I love fall. We are just starting to get fall weather here. This week has been 70s most of the week. Next week supposed to be some 60s with lows in the 30s. That's a little too cool for me, but I won't complain.

Thanks everyone for your time and comments. Much appreciated. It gets down to the 30's in the winter here and sometimes 20. It can snow, but does not happen often. I am not looking forward to being cold again. I like the recent 80s and 90's.
