Mushrooms

Botanical Gardens
Fort Bragg, California
July 2006

Imagine a mushroom in the gardens by the sea.
Carved out of wood,  just there along the path.
Four years ago I went to these gardens with two friends.
I must go there again in the spring.
Winter time there is usually cold, foggy, and windy.
Summer and Spring for me is the best time to go.
Real live mushrooms are fun to find in the woods for photography.

Will be on the look out for them this year.

Wow, that is really neat!
I bet if we cooked it up, it might just taste a little woody!

Finding them in the wild is so fun! Can't wait to see if you find some out there!

Another beautiful post.

Michael, yes woody. I would expect to hear that from you. The REAL ones are so colorful. Last year I found a bright red one. But the light was not the best. Hopefully I can locate some new mushrooms.

Hello Jane, I certainly meant no slander towards your wonderful blog, I sometimes have to wonder about my silly humor! Keep up the good work, I've really got to get going on some blogs myself!
