Dive

Another mallard from the lake not far from my home.
This guy was diving under water repeatedly.
Squeezing the camera out until I got something to do with water.
Drips are fun to catch.
The colors of mallards are brilliant, none are the same.
Later after looking at this photograph, I noticed that he was giving me the eye.
I plan on going to a different part of this lake hopefully this week.
Photography is all about the hunt, and unexpected surprises.
Although I hope I can find some dragonflies like I saw on Sunday.
